I am a seamstress in rural Montana and, from my little studio here in the Bitterroot, I create beautiful clothing for women. I focus on timeless, classic pieces, and I love easy-care fabrics like cotton, and linen. I believe clothing should be comfortable and always flattering. You should feel good and look great in what you wear. I believe, with today’s busy lifestye, getting dressed needs to be quick and easy–there are other important things to do! My creations can be dressed up or down, and will be go-to pieces for when you just need to look fabulous without a lot of fuss. I do have a thing for vintage designs and you’ll see me do special pieces from the 40s, 50s and 60s from time to time.
I love life in the country, where hospitality is everywhere and hard work abounds, and where the “good life” flows from the heart. I’ve been married for 20 years to the same wonderful man, and have two beautiful children. I homeschool my kiddos and that’s a job in itself–so, my sewing business is actually my part-time passion at present.
You’ll see me occasionally post other projects that have absolutely nothing to do with sewing. I also love knitting, refinishing furniture, cooking, and gardening. I’m an organizer and I’m always trying to simplify my life by skimming off the excesses. It’s a process.
